The Equipment Specialty course is designed to be an introduction to new types of equipment and to familiarize divers with the operation and maintenance of equipment. The course does not train the student to repair or overhaul equipment except for minor servicing. Such repair activities require special factory training. Theory, principles and operation of diving equipment is emphasized as well as recommended care, maintenance, and storage procedures.

TIME: Day 1 -  6:30 am - 3:00 pm or 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

DAYS: 1 Day - Daily Upon  Request

MATERIALS REQUIRED: $13.95 (SSI Equipment Techniques Specialty Manual)
NUMBER OF DIVES: 2 (May be done from boat)
REQUIREMENTS: SSI Open Water Certification or equivalent, Must provide your own personal snorkeling system (mask, fins, snorkel & boots)
