The Underwater Navigation Specialty Course is designed to familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning organization, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards, and enjoyment of underwater navigation.

The course is intended to serve as a safe and supervised introduction to navigation techniques used in the underwater environment. Training is practical and emphasizes fun and safety.

TIME: Day 1 -  6:30 am - 3:00 pm or 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
PLACE: Maui Dive Shop - Kihei Outlet,  Kahana Gateway Center, or Ma'alaea Shopping Village
DAYS: 1 Day - Daily Upon  Request
COST: $149.95 plus tax , Boat $94.95 (Optional)
MATERIALS REQUIRED: $13.95 (SSI Underwater Navigation Specialty Manual
NUMBER OF DIVES: 2 (May be done from boat)
REQUIREMENTS: SSI Open Water Certification or equivalent, Must provide your own personal snorkeling system (mask, fins, snorkel & boots)

MINIMUM AGE: 12 years old
