Looking for a little variety? Custom Beach Dives offer one of the best ways to explore the diverse reefs of our coves and bays as
well as those formed on ancient lava flows. These reefs support a variety of marine life which includes green sea turtles, spotted eagle rays, manta rays, moray eels, shrimp,
crabs, lobster, white tip reef sharks, octopus, and numerous reef fish.
Many of our divers tell us the dives are as good as - if not better than - many boat dives they've been on. (And, much less expensive!) It's also a good way for new diver's to log some "bottom time."
Our beaches provide easy entry into water conditions that are often pool like and offer small groups of 6 or less for personalized service!
The beauty of a beach dive is that there is no rushing to catch a boat that is leaving the dock. Hey! You are here on vacation. Why get stressed about schedules? We have divers who return year after year because they enjoy not only a good dive but the relaxed atmosphere of the beach.
DIVE DETAILS:
DAY BEACH DIVE: 12:45pm to 5:30pm (approx. times)
NIGHT BEACH DIVE: 5:30pm to 9:00pm (varies seasonally)
TIME - 4:30pm (Check-in time depends on sunset times)
PLACE - Kihei Outlet Store or Maui Dive & Surf Store at the Lahaina Gateway Shopping Center
PREREQUISITES - Certification as an Open Water Diver or higher level from any certification agency or completion
of the SSI Try SCUBA Diving program with Maui Dive Shop within the previous 2 weeks. Night dives are not available for Try SCUBA
divers.
