Looking for a little variety? Custom Beach Dives offer one of the best ways to explore the diverse reefs of our
coves and bays as well as those formed on ancient lava flows. These reefs support a variety of marine life which includes green sea
turtles, spotted eagle rays, manta
rays, moray eels, shrimp, crabs, lobster, white tip reef sharks, octopus, and numerous reef fish.
An instructor knowledgeable in both the marine life and diving conditions of Maui guides Custom Beach Dives. The
instructor will select the best dive sites for the day based on prevailing conditions, and the divers’ skills and personal
interests. Dives are conducted in small groups and include a pre-dive briefing with safety tips, marine life sighting and
identification tips, and navigation plans.
The day program includes 2 dives and the night program offers one dive. All necessary diving equipment is provided
at no additional cost. You will need to provide your own transportation by car throughout the activity. A taxi or bicycle will not
be adequate.
DAY BEACH DIVE - 12:45pm to 5:30pm (approx. times)
NIGHT BEACH DIVE - 5:30pm to 9:00pm (varies seasonally)
PLACE - Kihei Outlet Store or Kahana Gateway Store
PREREQUISITES - Certification as an Open Water Diver or higher level from any certification agency or completion of the SSI Try SCUBA Diving program
with Maui Dive Shop within the previous 2 weeks. Night dives are not available for Try SCUBA divers.
