Wailea Area with Molokini Inset

Once you have arrived in Wailea, you can park in either of the beach access parking lots shown on the map. At Ulua/Mokapu Beach you can enter on either side of the rocky point and snorkel along the reef. The dive is good for both beginner snorkeling or scuba diving. Further out is a deeper reef for the more experienced.

Off Wailea Beach go to the rocky point on the left. This area has more coral than Ulua, but you need to swim a little farther. Good area for beginners and intermediate. Morning is always best here.

Molokini is a great snorkeling and scuba diving location. You can snorkel and scuba dive anywhere within the crater. Since you will have gotten here by boat, your captain will advise you where to dive. The Backside of Molokini is recommended for advanced scuba divers only.
